Imagination and curiosity

Babies like to imitate, when they are about 18 months they start to imitate conducts, sounds that actually sound like words, girls for example see their mom baking and they want to do the same, or sometimes you can see that a baby boy imitates the gesture of his daddy when watching T.V. and with the pretend play they can develop imagination and also getting toys that looks like the real items, for example with tool box with it the boys will stop looking for daddy’s tools and besides that, since it’s a pretend play you can help to develop baby’s imagination and also encourage your baby to explore new things and another benefit of the pretend play is that if your baby don’t speak very well, he or she will try to imitate sound of the words and help develop speech skills and vocabulary, and of course this kind of games will offer them endless hours of play.
