Developing Vocabulary

When you have kids that are learning to speak, maybe they are going to a day care or preschool, there are ways that mom and dad can help to improve vocabulary and also make of reading an easy thing and in a fun way.

If your toddler its between 12 and 18 months old, one of the best ways for him or her to get familiarized with sounds is by reading, sit them besides you and read them a story or just take a coloring book and point to the object and say the name, for example if what is shown on the page it’s a teddy bear, that’s what you have to say.
Playing
When they are older, maybe 3 to 5 years old, and they only want to play you can find cards games with images and words, some of them are objects others maybe about chores, but they will focus in a game way and will be fun for them.
If you practice this sort of activities with your kids since their early ages it will easy for them to read fluently and acquire more vocabulary
